Definitely a product of its time (lots of gasps and oh-nos from the audience), but still a fun watch! Great practical effects, especially in the last act of the film. Phenomenal casting for all of the leads here. George Miller's filmography is honestly fascinating, and this is an entry in it that stands entirely on its own.
