Sure, it's a kid's movie, but it's so much more than that. Super heavy if you're looking in the right places. Born out of Cold War paranoia and a culture that lashes out at anything it doesn't understand, it really does pull at your heartstrings. The giant is so pure, you can't help but weep whenever our poor iron boy is threatened. Big shoutouts to Brad Bird and Vin Diesel for this one.
