Don't think this did enough to get me emotionally invested in these characters. And it's very much character driven, so if they don't do much for you, you might struggle. But the score is great, as typical with Davies. And the ending is quite poetic.
Watched on 35mm at the TIFF Lightbox. Terence Davies retrospective. I believe Cameron Bailey mentioned at the screenings yesterday that this print is from TIFF's library. Also of note, the film premiered at TIFF back in 2011.
