What better way to spend National Canadian Film Day than a free screening of this instant Toronto classic, on 35mm, at the Revue! Jay McCarrol and the producers appeared afterwards for a quick Q&A, and even brought out the Canadian Tire guy. But yeah, the crowd I saw this with at VIFF in the fall was just as rocking as this one. And for however long I'm a Toronto guy, and probably beyond, this will be an essential.
