Perhaps my tolerance for weird just isn’t what it used to be, because I got nothing from this. I thought David Lowery was onto something with a A Ghost Story. He took a strange direction with The Green Knight, but it still had some vision. But this one is just draining. Like half this movie is just two people in a basement having the most insufferably pretentious dialogue about some shit they ought to work out like real people. No amount of metaphoric meaning can make that entertaining to me. If you want to look into the weird recent pocket of movies touching on pop stardom, The Weeknd's Hurry Up Tomorrow is also not good. But allow me a hot take here — it clears this. FKA Twigs innocent.

Watched at the Yonge-Dundas Cineplex.
