I already wrote a bit about this one a few months ago when the 4K blu-ray came out. Not much to add this time, as this watch was about the experience — on 16mm at the Revue! First time seeing anything on 16mm. It felt like watching a movie on cable TV in a hotel room. Mostly because of the AV quality. And it felt like any moment it could break to commercial. Definitely a unique experience, and I'm not sure why a 16mm print of this movie exists, but it kinda works here! To obfuscate some of the CGI, and give it a moody lo-fi atmosphere to go with the bleach bypass.
