I'm a sucker for biopics... so I did enjoy this. We all the know the formula. There's a contract of sorts with this kind of movie that keeps things moving along at a good pace, so it's easy to look past the flaws. Thriller is a colossal album, so I probably would have taken a movie just about its development. But the man lived a pretty unorthodox life, and this movie doesn't really tap into that. Perhaps the sequel will.

Watched in IMAX at Scotiabank Theatre Toronto.
