Have we truly lost the plot? I guess in three years we're going to be riding around on quadcopters and letting AI run our courts? The pro-AI angle this thing has is very much unappreciated, and bundle it up in a War of the Worlds-esque package, there's a lot here to genuinely be mad about. Rebecca Ferguson, you're better than this. Chris Pratt, on the other hand, maybe not. Just watch Minority Report if you want a sane take on AI and moral certainty.

Watched in IMAX at the Yonge-Dundas Square Cineplex. 2026 IMAX slate entry #1 — first IMAX release of the year and we are off to a rocky start. I'm hoping to catch as many IMAX wide releases as I can this year, so at least the toughest watch of the lot is probably out of the way early with this one. It's telling that the proper IMAX theatre in town is not even playing this one, and instead I had to settle for the obnoxiously loud (and cold!) IMAX auditorium at Yonge-Dundas Square, with its 1.9:1 aspect ratio. This movie did get released in IMAX 3D at select locations, but not here, and I didn't deem it worthy to seek out.
