I missed Kinds of Kindness, but this definitely felt like a return to form for Yorgos Lanthimos. At least to me, because I wasn't a fan of Poor Things. I guess I prefer him operating in a modern context, as I would probably put this just under The Lobster. It's a bizarrely funny take on this conspiracy filled world we live in, especially where it decides to take things. Emma Stone kills it, to the surprise of no one. And lastly, I can't help but think we were one "pushing the needle" away from a full-on corporate speak bingo here. Well done!
