The fantasy sequences really elevate this one, timed perfectly to persist the tension, but ambiguous enough to let our imaginations kick in. And it treads this world ever so carefully, refraining from any kind of lewd excursions, unwavering from her struggle to be her own self despite whatever expectations society has for her.
